This is Halloween!

Well, we were to celebrate Halloween on Saturday the 29th. October.
But then I got sick.

So I was in Pongo's bed most of the time, trying not to puke. Bahh.
But I still managed to get some fine photos of how it looked, and what we did now when I couldn't dress up.

We made muffins, and bought all this candy and energy drinks. Since I wasn't feeling well saturday morning either, we decided on no alcohol. But even though I became sick near the evening, we had a really good day with good music, Halloweenie movies and lots and lots of talking about old days and such :)
Pongo (blue hair) spend Sunday re-sewing my clothes, bringing me water, bringing me herbal teas, bringing me food I wouldn't eat, making sure I was warm, gave me pills and made me soup (first photo) and I think that my doing-better today is cause of her, so THANK YOU VÏKÏNG!

And Happy Halloween everybody!

Halloween plans!

As of right now,
it turns out that my souldude and I will be alone Halloween.
The other three cancelled for personal things, which of couse feels really nice to not only spend time and stress around, and get super excited to see them all again, but also money to make it a good weekend for everyone. Yep, real nice..

Well, we can do it on our own as well, and we will probably end up finding more people around town.
So far, this is what I think we will do:

Friday is all about horror. Music and movies. Saturday we will dress up and take photos and have fun in the streets at night. Ghouls night out, yeah!
Sunday... rot away on the couch until Mephisto and I go home.

There will be eaten many nachos with cheese and stuff, and also delicious muffins etc. etc.
Photos will come :)

Halloween?

Still don't know what I'll dress up as.
You may not know that we here in Denmark doesn't celebrate Halloween. Lately we've began to sell Halloween stuff, but no one makes any deal out of it. We don't have any trick or treat at all, and kids rarely dress up.
We do use it as excuse to dress up as sluts and get drunk though...
That's not what I do. I spend Halloween weekend with my souldude, where we watch horror movies all days long, eat stuff, drink things and dress up and go out in the night the most terrifying places just to scare ourselves. We're usually 3-5 people together.

So yeah, for the past Halloweens I have been a cat, a dead girl, Wednesday 13, and I wanted to be a bloody butcher with a Paul Gray mask, but the mask didn't arrive in time.
This year, I have thought of different things:

Masky, Spaulding or Joey.
Dunno man...
It has to fit my dreadlocks :O

20 Random Horror Facts

1) Stephen King’s addiction to drugs and alcohol was profound enough that when he was finally clean in 1987, he found the manuscript for Cujo and had to re-read it to recall what it was about, as he literally couldn’t remember much about writing it at all because it was written under the influence.
2) Edgar Allan Poe served two years in the Army but was court-martialed and promptly discharged.
3) George Romero had a cameo in The Silence of the Lambs as one of Hannibal Lecter’s prison guards.
4) Bruce Campbell kicked Chuck Norris right in the balls once. A week later, Chuck sent Bruce a fruit basket thanking him for the honor.
5) Rumor has it that Jamie Lee Curtis is a hermaphrodite (someone born with both male and female sex organs, usually has male organs removed and is raised as a female). She has never commented on these rumors, but someone with this condition apparently cannot have children. Jamie and her hubby have two adopted kids.
6) H.P. Lovecraft died in 1937 but didn’t have a headstone until 1977 when fans of his pitched in to buy him one.
7) John Carpenter named the character of Laurie Strode (Halloween) after his first girlfriend.
8) Alfred Hitchcock was honored with a U.S. Postage stamp in 1998.
9) Dario Argento’s hands are almost always the gloved killer’s hands in his films.
10) Vincent Price attended the opening night of the first production of Richard O’Brien’s “The Rocky Horror Show”, the stage musical that was the basis for “The Rocky Horror Picture Show”.
11) Cassandra Peterson (a.k.a. Elvira, Mistress of the Dark) was badly burned by boiling water at age five and had several skin grafts. Not that you can tell now!
12) Lucio Fulci was broke at the time of his death. Dario Argento paid for his funeral.
13) After writing Jaws and realizing it painted the shark as a heartless villain, Peter Benchley became a huge advocate for the preservation and conservation of sharks, in particular the Great White.
14) When asked about education, Quentin Tarantino quoted: “When people ask me if I went to film school, I tell them ‘no, I went to films.’”
15) It is said that Wes Craven worked in pornographic films as an editor, writer and director before he had success in horror.
16) Besides writing Psycho, author Robert Bloch wrote over twenty novels and hundreds of short stories. It is he, not Stephen King, who originally quoted “I have the heart of a little boy; I keep it in a jar on my desk.”
17) Bela Lugosi was offered the part of the Frankenstein monster but declined it, paving the way for Boris Karloff.
18) Christopher Lee has been in over 275 films since 1947. This is a Guinness book world record holder for most film acting roles ever.
19) Ruggero Deodato was arrested after his film Cannibal Holocaust was released, and was forced by a judge to produce the actors from the movie because they were feared dead.
20) Janet Leigh’s body double for the shower scene in Psycho was ironically stabbed to death in 1988.

Marble Hornets

Have you heard of this?
If not, it's time you do.

"Marble Hornets" is the name of a film that Alex Kralie wanted to shoot. But the production wasn't long before he gave it up and quit it.
His friend Jay, being a film student himself, was interested in seeing Alex' work. But Alex didn't want them. He didn't want anyone to see them. "Burn them", he said.
After long convincing he finally gave the tapes to Jay, and then left town.

Jay forgets about them, but suddenly they pop up again in the back of his closet. And as he continues to watch them, and dig into the whole situation, he finds himself in a place he wish he never got into.

You can follow Jay though all this on both his YouTube channel and his Twitter account.
You can also follow 'Totheark', an account who uploads videoresponses to Jay's entries. Who he is, is not exactly sure, but he is believed to be the guy with the mask.

I really like this series, especially because of all the loose ends that they slowly connects, and then creates a whole new one to follow. Not only is it interesting, but also this is the first "movie" in over 5 years that actually gave me a little scare. And I have seen many horrormovies in my lifetime.

Here you can see the introduction video:

I hope you like it. Cause I surely fuckin' did!

METAHL!

After 3 years of waiting
for any news, any thing, any sign that this band was still alive... they finally returned.
Today, their new single "Metal" was available for purchase on iTunes.
I didn't know what to expect, cause the news-sites said this song showed what direction their next album would go.
I was very scared that it was something totally different, and not the Deathstars I loved. That it would be so disappointing to know I had waited for such a long time, for crap like this.

But it wasn't crap. It wasn't shit. It wasn't a disappoint at all.
IT. IS. FUCKING. WONDERFUL!
Are you SICK this is amazing! It sounds like a twist between all their previous three albums, but REALLY reminds me of Synthetic Generation which was so great!
I am so HOOKED on this song, it's so good! It's better than icecream and chocolate!

I'm so happy and proud for Deathstars. And I can't wait for the 3rd of November to come.
See you there, Deathglamrockers <3

Change of plans.

What you see here is a face of disappoint
So first, I was gonna have holidays at two of my best friend. Then just one of them.
Then he would come here, and I would go to the other later. Then I was suddenly going so TUKREY :D
Where everything is cheap!
Then I wanted to check my money on my card. I thought I had at least 600DKR, but probably around 800-1000 DKR. I had 156...
Then the trip to Turkey got cancelled.
So now I have no money, and can't visit my friend until Sunday.

But the vacation starts tomorrow and lasts 9 days on.
And that.. I can agree of :)

Bracelets

This is my favorite bracelet
I bought it in France, in the city Brest.
It was a cheap 3€ piece from Claire's, and it even misses the cute tophat you see here.
But I really like it. It has starten to turn brown and everything, but it is just so lovely anyway.

It fits with almost everything I wear (except my Dissection shirt, haha) and it just looks so beautiful on my wrist.

I just wanted to show you guys this little cutie, cause it's one of my primary bracelets. And even though it is for no good and it's fake and sometimes very annoying, I like it anyway.

Art...?

Is it just me,
or is this video rather impressive?
It creeps me out alittle, but it also makes me smile.

I'd call this art.

Mickey Mousey dreads!

This is my Mickey Mouse-kinda dread-do.It's not hard to make, it is though hard to get it right the first time.
I will upload a tutorial on how to do it, which you also can use on loose hair!

I started doing them because my dreads fills up everywhere, and my hair is HUGE.
This way I got something exciting going, and also got shorter dreads in the side. As you can see.
Have a happy monday - mine started out with feeling sick so I had to skip first class :(

Movies you should watch: Hesher.

Hesher (2010)
If you like metalrockers with long hair and a crazy attitude, you should watch this.
The movie shows you a family consisting of a father in grief, a reserved son and a grandmother who tries her hardest to keep the family together after their loss of the mother/wife.
One day, Hesher comes into their life out of nowhere, and starts wrecking up shit.
It's not any kind of lifechanging movie, but I really like it.
And I really like hot guys with long hair. Heh.

I recommend this for an evening with friends, beer, nachos and cigarettes.
Or a nice couple-evening, if you're not romantic pussies.
It's just a good movie. Watch it the trailer below! :D

Platform shoes to keep above the snow.

Winter is coming in
and I need some new boots. Here in Denmark we get a lot of snow (the last couple of wintres only. Hooray for global warming...) and last winter I realized that my heeled boots couldn't do the trick anymore. My feet got wet, cause my toes pointed into the snow.
So this year I will defeat the white, freezing monster with one of these pairs!
Im not sure which one yet though. I really want that biiig platform thing on the left, but the smaller one on the right just looks so pretty.
And there's only a 100 DKr difference...

Rings

I wish I had a dozen of rings
Ever since I saw Phoebe from Friends have like 20 rings or so on her hands, I have wanted that too.
My problem is that I only have two. And for some reason I can't buy them. They look so boring when they just lay there. And my hand is very small and chubby, so it's the fewest rings that suits it.

I'd like to have this one, though.
It would probably get stuck in my dreads constantly. Like my bracelets, necklaces and even my earrings.
But it would be worth it.
Yeah...
I want that ring!
